Dear readers,
I hope all is well and your collective 2023’s are beginning on a strong note. There has been a dearth of articles on this newsletter for a while now, though I promise the time has been put to good use.
Long have I looked longingly at my American Mythos, though I’ve never taken any efforts to begin the monumental task of summoning it into being. That is, until today. Earlier today, I published A Country Squire’s Notebook, a collection of seven short stories within my Mythos, the first work at length within the Mythos published for sale.
The stories take place from the Tidewater to the Shenandoah, from times of legend to legends in time. The collection has a story for every taste and a tale for every inclination, and serves only as a bold first step within a work of truly multi-epic proportions.
I would be humbled if the dear readers of this Substack peruse the product on my Gumroad, the link for which can be found here:

I would like to extend a sincere thanks to everyone who contributed a hand in this work, but especially the editor and author of the Foreword, T.R. Hudson. God bless all of you, and I look forward to see all our efforts rewarded.
I too would like to extend a special thanks to every reader of this Substack, who have remained steadfast in their support of a budding young writer in myself, at the stage where steadfast support is what I need the most. Thank you very much, and may you find foreign shores less appealing than your own.
I remain your most humble servant,
Paul Fahrenheidt Bakersfield, CA January 30th, 2022
Nice to see you back, Paul, and nice to see that you've been busy during your absence!
